I love your passion for Paris! Although my ancestry is 75 percent French, my passion is for the culture of Vienna, another capital city that has been a great center for the arts and sciences and is, like Paris, also divided into numbered districts. Unfortunately, however, its climate is very different from that of Southern California, so I'd have a hard time living there in the winter! I agree with you that experiencing different cultures is very enriching. Inter-generational experiences are more difficult for me. At my age, there isn't an older generation still alive, so my primary interaction is with artists who have been dead for some time.

At any rate, I think it keeps us energized and full of hope. At this point, I have several younger friends, who are the age of my children really vitalize my life. Thanks for reading!
Bonjour mes amies! Two "old" Paris friends - Claudine and I bonded over our shared love of history pre-pandemic, and I met Krystal through her. (and Krystal took our pictures in 2022)- and one new friend! It's been a joy to get to know you in our Wednesday classes, Janis.
